White Rose Junior League

What a fantastic morning of competition at the Annual White Rose Junior League this morning. The City of Leeds A team triumphed with 350 points and winning the canon to progress to the Northern Final, seeing off challenges from City of Sheffield (274) and Bo Kirklees (271). Leeds A had a whopping 23 1st places. The B Team (198) also did an amazing job by stealing points from the other teams. Well done everyone, it was a tense and amazing experience.

The next round of the Junior League is the Northern Final which will be held on Sunday 29th October in Northumberland & Durham. This is our eighth year in the competition and after winning four years in a row (2010 - 2013). It would be great to storm through the next round and get the trophy back in Leeds by winning the National Final (26th November).

*Please note that if you are selected for the Junior League Northern or National final this must take priority over any other competition on the same day. (NER's, City of Leeds October Meet & City of Sheffield Snow Frills).

1st: City of Leeds A = 350 Points (23 First Places)

2nd: City of Sheffield A = 274 Points

3rd: B.O.K = 271 Points

4th: Doncaster Dartes = 221 Points

5th: City of Leeds B = 198 Points

6th: Harrogate = 190 Points

7th: Kingston Upon Hull = 172 Points

8th: City of Sheffield B = 96

Well Done Everyone!

Thanks to David Broome, Pam Smith and Andrew Russell for officiating, as well as a huge thank you to our fantastic team managers on the day (Kim Mathias, Meron Gebre, Mandy Healy & Catherine Kenneth).

Also a big shout out to all those parents who made the effort to wear team colours and join in the fun by wearing wigs and face paint. Great Job hopefully you can top it at the Northern Final.

Keep focusing on great takeovers and finishes during training ready to smash the Northern Final.
