England Talent County Camp Programme Selections 2018

Well done to the following swimmers from Regional Performance on their selection to the Swim England County Pathway Programme 2018

The County Pathway Programme has been developed by the England Programmes Team. Swimmers have been selected as a result of their performances at the Yorkshire Swimming Championships in February 2018. 24 swimmers in total were selected (12 Male & 12 Female) all of whom will be 11 years of age at the 31st December 2018. The programme will consist of three one day camps to be held at Ashville College.

National Qualifier Meet Tombola

Hi All,

The club are holding an Easter Egg tombola at the Leeds National Qualifier Meet over the weekend of the 13/14/15 April and are asking for donations of Easter Eggs. If you would like to make a donation please bring them to the book stall on club night or hand them to Kay Jackson, Georgina Logan or Lesley Williams.

Spring Development Meet Success

Well done to those swimmers from Regional Development who competed in the Development Gala on Saturday afternoon. The squad achieved 18 PB's out of 25 Swims, 9 Gold Medals, 5 Silver Medals, 1 Bronze Medals, 1 Yorkshire Qualifying Time and 9 top 4th - 10th place finishes.

Sheffield Summer Meet Entries

Hi All,

The club will be taking entries on Monday 26th March for the City of Sheffield Summer Meet. This meet will be held at Ponds Forge on 21st and 22nd July. For those swimmers not attending the Welsh Summer Nationals this will be your last meet of the season.

As this is the last meet of the season swimmers are advised to enter their best events. Your best events are the ones you have achieved Yorkshire and NER qualifying times in or are close to doing so.

Age at 22nd July 2018 (9 yrs+)

Events Available: 50's, 100's, 200's All Strokes & 400m FS

Welsh Summer Open Meet

Dear Parent,

The window of opportunity to express your interest in your child swimming at the Welsh Summer Open Meet is now open. This window will close on Thursday 29th March.

The Welsh Summer Open Meet runs from Monday 30th July until Sunday 5^th August. The team bus will travel to Swansea on Sunday 29^th July and return on Monday 6^th August.

This competition acts as an excellent platform for preparing Junior Athletes for life away from home at Swimming Camps and long challenging competitions.

This opportunity is presented to children in National Squad, National Age Group, Junior Performance and Regional Performance who meet the eligible age for competition, which are 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 & over (as of 31^st December 2017).

Please note that for the time being this is simply an 'expression of interest'. The cost of the Welsh Summer Meet will be £380.00, inclusive of travel, accommodation, food and staffing. The cost of swimming events must be entered individually. There will be further communication when this is due.
